Data deletion
If you are a business using ReturnLift
- Disconnect WhatsApp: Connections → Disconnect. The access token is deleted immediately and no further messages are received or sent.
- Delete a customer: Customers → the customer → Delete. The customer record, their messages and their signals are removed; an opted-out customer’s phone number is kept only as an opt-out so they are never messaged again.
- Close the account: email hello@getreturnlift.com from the owner’s email. Customers, messages, files and configuration are deleted within 30 days. The audit trail is kept without personal data.
If you are a customer of a business that uses ReturnLift
Reply STOP to any message from the business and you will not be messaged again through ReturnLift. To have your record deleted, ask the business, or email hello@getreturnlift.com with the business name and the phone number concerned; we will pass the request to the business and confirm what was done within 30 days.
For Meta
ReturnLift’s Meta app uses a Data Deletion Request callback at /api/meta/data-deletion. A signed request from Meta is verified with the app secret and answered with a confirmation code and a link to this page, where the status can be checked.
