Terms of service
These terms apply to businesses that use ReturnLift. By creating an account or connecting a WhatsApp number you agree to them on behalf of your business.
What ReturnLift is
ReturnLift is software that helps a business keep in touch with its own existing customers on WhatsApp: it organises the customer history the business uploads, prepares messages from material the business has approved, sends them only as the business configures, and shows the business what happened. Messages travel over Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform under Meta’s terms, which also bind you.
Your responsibilities
- You have the right to contact the customers you upload, and you keep the evidence of their permission. ReturnLift records the evidence you give it and refuses to message customers without it.
- Everything the system says to your customers comes from answers, voice and guidelines you approve. You are responsible for their accuracy.
- You honour opt-outs. ReturnLift marks a customer who replies STOP as opted out for good and will not message them again; you must not re-add them.
- You keep your sign-in credentials and your Meta access confidential and tell us if either is compromised.
- You use ReturnLift for your own business. Messages about other businesses, general-purpose assistance or anything Meta’s policies prohibit are not permitted.
Our responsibilities
- We process your data only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, and keep it separate from other businesses’ data.
- We record every message sent, every refusal and the reason, so you can see what the system did and why.
- We do not send anything on your behalf while your brand is paused, and automatic sending happens only in the mode you choose.
What the figures mean
ReturnLift reports what happened: messages accepted by Meta, delivered, read, replies, bookings recorded and revenue in your own records after a booked reply. Acceptance is not delivery, a booking is not a completed visit, and revenue observed after a message is not proof that the message caused it. Nothing in the product is a prediction or a guarantee of results.
Fees
Fees are the monthly plan for your list size plus, where agreed, a percentage of the recorded revenue described above, set out on your monthly statement. Statements are issued once a calendar month is over. Collection is between you and us; ReturnLift does not take payments.
Ending the service
You can disconnect your number or close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or Meta’s policies, and will tell you why. On closure your data is deleted as the privacy policy describes.
Liability
ReturnLift is provided as described, with the limits stated in the product. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for Meta’s availability, delivery or policy decisions.
